The Quaich features two intricate Celtic Knot style handles and a glass bottom due to the legend that in 1745 Bonnie Prince Charlie travelled with the Scottish army from Edinburgh to Derby and brought with him a glass bottomed Quaich bowl so that he could keep an eye on his enemies whilst drinking.
